Java Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate should have experience in building scalable microservices, REST APIs, database development, and cloud-native applications while following Agile development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Participate in application architecture, design discussions, and code reviews.
• Integrate applications with databases, messaging systems, and third-party APIs.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Maintain technical documentation and support application deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 48 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and Data Structures.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-native application development.
• Exposure to containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture using Kafka.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and application performance tuning.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Reactive Programming (Spring WebFlux).
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience in financial services, healthcare, retail, or telecom domains.
• Relevant certifications in Java, Spring, or Cloud technologies.
