Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices, low level design thinking
• Experience with Git and version control systems
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Production Support / On-Call

• Willingness to participate in the on-call support rotation (1 week every 4 to 6 weeks) from 8.30am 8.30pm
• Experience in production issue analysis and resolution
• Log analysis and troubleshooting
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

Good-to-Have Skills

Containers & DevOps

• Docker basics and Kubernetes basics
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Basic understanding of cloud-native application deployments
• Knowledge of EC2/VMs and storage services such as S3/ Azure
• Understanding of cloud monitoring and observability concepts

On-Call Support Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to production incidents generated through application monitoring and alerting systems; analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within defined SLA timelines.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, including service failures, performance degradation, API errors, and application functionality defects identified through logs and monitoring tools.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Execute package, library, and dependency upgrades to address security vulnerabilities, compliance requirements, and application stability concerns.
• Collaborate closely with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure timely resolution of production issues and smooth operational support.
• Validate production deployments, monitor application health post-release, and support release management activities as required.
• The candidate will work in hybrid mode (3days WFO), oncall support for extended hours can be taken up remotely
