Java Developer- Chennai Location

Role & responsibilities

Exp- 4 to 12 Years

Location- Chennai Only

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java applications.
• Build scalable Microservices using Spring Boot.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Integrate applications with databases and third-party systems.
• Work in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).
• Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and API integration.
• Good understanding of Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven, Gradle.
• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ is preferred.
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes and containerization concepts.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, or Telecom domains.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and Software Architecture principles.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus
