About this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop secure, reliable, and high-performance backend services.
- Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical design discussions.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams.
- Support CI/CD processes and application deployments.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java, OOP, and core Java concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, Git, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Understanding of exception handling, logging, security, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and CI/CD is an advantage.
