Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Build and enhance microservices-based architectures for scalable enterprise applications. Work closely with architects, frontend engineers, DevOps, and QA to deliver robust, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot.
• Design and implement microservices with proper separation of concerns and domain-driven design.
• Integrate services with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and external systems.
• Implement security, authentication, and authorization (Spring Security, OAuth2/JWT).
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and estimation.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for services and APIs.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; provide L3 support as needed.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for deployments.
• Ensure proper logging, monitoring, and alerting for microservices.

Required Skills and Experience

5-7 years of experience in Java backend development.

• Java 8+
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
• Microservices architecture
• Building and consuming REST APIs
• Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• At least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Redis) - preferred
• Spring Security
• OAuth2/JWT
• Message queues / event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito)
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Version control (Git)
• Docker
