Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Engineer to develop and maintain scalable backend applications. This is a high-visibility role requiring the translation of business visions into robust technical solutions for our digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• API Design: Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Database Management: Work with MySQL databases and write optimized SQL queries using JPA/Hibernate.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Integrate Apache Kafka for real-time messaging and event-driven communication.
• Testing: Implement rigorous unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• AI Integration: Support the integration of AI/ML APIs to power intelligent features such as automated patient reminders and predictive analytics.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with frontend teams working with JavaScript and support deployment in cloud environments.

Required Technical Skills

• Core Tech: Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• ORM: Experience with Spring Data JPA / Hibernate.
• Messaging: Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Architecture: Knowledge of microservices architecture and scalable systems.
• Cloud: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
• Understanding of application performance and high-scale scalability.
