Java Backend Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. The ideal candidate should have experience designing, developing, and coding scalable microservices-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Participate in application design, development, coding, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Build scalable and reliable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work with messaging/queueing systems such as Solace.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software within sprint timelines.
• Follow engineering best practices for code quality, version control, CI/CD, and deployment.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java
• Strong experience in Microservices Architecture
• Hands-on experience designing and developing Microservices-based applications
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot
• Basic understanding of Messaging Queues, preferably Solace

Good to Have

• Experience with Oracle / PostgreSQL / HBase / Hadoop or other scalable databases
• GitHub, JIRA, Confluence
• Maven, Jenkins, Ansible
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and Agile/Scrum methodology

• Strong backend development experience with Java
• Good understanding of distributed and microservices-based architectures
• Hands-on coding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment
• Good communication and collaboration skills
