Java Back End Developer

Role Summary-

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands on Java Microservices Lead to lead a POD within the Loyalty Technology Transformation LTT program The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end delivery ownership of the POD while actively contributing to design development code reviews troubleshooting and production support activities

Key Responsibilities-

• Lead and own delivery of the PODs committed scope timelines quality and technical outcomes
• Act as a fully hands on developer contributing significantly to coding and technical implementation
• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java Spring Boot and related frameworks
• Perform solution design reviews code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners Architects QA DevOps Integration and Business stakeholders
• Drive sprint planning estimation dependency management risk identification and status reporting
• Support defect triage performance optimization production issue resolution and release activities
• Mentor junior developers and ensure technical excellence across the POD
• Ensure compliance with CICD security observability and quality engineering practices.

Required Skills-

• Strong hands on experience in Java Spring Boot Microservices Architecture RESTAPIs and Event Driven Design
• Experience with Kafka Event Streaming API integrations and distributed systems
• Good understanding of cloud native application development and containerization Docker Kubernetes
• Experience with CICD pipelines Git Jenkins GitHub Actions and DevOps practices
• Strong knowledge of SQL NoSQL databases and application performance tuning
• Proven experience leading Agile PODs and delivering complex enterprise applications
• Excellent stakeholder management communication and problem solving skills.

Preferred-

• Experience in Loyalty Hospitality or Customer Engagement platforms
• Exposure to Salesforce ecosystem integrations
• Experience working in largescale digital transformation programs
