Java Back End Developer

Role & responsibilities :

5+ years of Experience

• Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
• Microservices & Event-Driven Architecture
• REST APIs and/or GraphQL API design
• SQL & NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Messaging/middleware: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ
• Kubernetes & Docker
• Security: JWT, OAuth, TLS
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)

Non-Technical

• Ability to lead a team of developers and conduct code reviews
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Track record of on-time, production-quality delivery
• Strong grasp of Design Patterns & SOLID principles

Good to Have

• Exposure to Public Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience with GraphQL (in addition to REST)
• Working knowledge of frontend/UI for backend integration
• Familiarity with Data Governance & Security compliance in a regulated (banking) environment
• Experience working with senior business stakeholders
