Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to join the Virtusa team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and production-ready backend applications using Java and Microservices.
• Design and develop reusable, maintainable software components.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code following coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvement of applications.
