Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain Microservices-based applications following industry best practices.
• Design and build RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code while following coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems is preferred.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Java Backend Development.
