Java Back End Developer (Telecom Domain)

Role Summary Seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to design, develop, test, and support a large-scale, cloud-native bill presentment platform. The role involves building high-volume distributed systems, microservices, APIs, batch-processing solutions, and integrations that support bill generation, storage, retrieval, reconciliation, and operational workflows. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong software engineering fundamentals, cloud-native development experience, and the ability to work within Agile delivery teams while maintaining high standards for quality, scalability, security, and performance. Required Experience • 5+ years of backend software development experience. • Strong hands-on experience building enterprise-scale applications using Java and Spring Boot. • Experience developing microservices and distributed systems. • Experience working with high-volume transaction or batch-processing systems. • Experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS. • Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams. • Experience participating in sprint planning, story estimation, daily standups, demos, retrospectives, and backlog refinement activities. Nice to Have • Telecom billing experience. • Amdocs or BriteBill experience. • Apache FOP, XSL-FO, PDF generation, or document-composition experience. • Velocity, Freemarker or equivalent templating language • AWS Glue and ETL experience. • DynamoDB data modeling expertise. • Observability tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry. • Authentication and authorization experience using OAuth2 and JWT.
