Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Java + Azure Engineer with 5–8 years of experience to build and deploy scalable, high‑performance backend applications on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development, combined with hands-on experience in CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions. This role requires a proactive developer who can own end-to-end delivery and ensure reliability and scalability of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, DevOps, front-end) to design and deliver new features.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write high-quality code with unit testing and integration testing.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding best practices.
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high system availability.
• Contribute to system design and microservices architecture decisions.

Required Skills and Qualification

• Strong proficiency in Java (8+) with solid understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps).
• Expertise in CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions and workflows.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to have Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Exposure to cloud security best practices.
• Experience in banking/financial or large-scale enterprise applications.
