Java AWS developer

Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer with

5+ years of expertise in Spring Boot, Spring, Microservices architecture, and AWS cloud technologies and modern frontend technologies such as React. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, scalable backend systems that power our digital platforms. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java (8/17/21) ,Spring, Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain microservices for our core platform.
• Integrate with cloud-native AWS services (such as ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, and SNS/SQS) & GCP (GKE, Apigee, Service accounts, Google Cloud Storage,Big Query).
• Ensure high code quality through automated unit and integration testing.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems.
• Implement security and data protection best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the SDLC process.
• Build reusable React Component and optimize application performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring JPA/Hibernate and Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications on Gitlab.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications on AWS infrastructure.
• Experience working in Integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and API integration.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with JUnit, Mockito, Azure Entra ID, OAuth2, JWT, Valkey (Redis-compatible cache).
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog)
