Java Automation Test Lead Engineer

Job Description

Looking for proactive Automation Engineers with strong experience in developing,

executing, and maintaining automation tests for web and mobile applications.

Candidates should be capable of working independently as Individual Contributors

and possess strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication

skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for web and mobile

applications.

• Design and enhance automation frameworks using Java or Python.

• Automate Smoke and Regression test scenarios.

• Analyse automation failures, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve flaky

tests.

• Support automation-suite stabilization, maintenance, and coverage

improvement.

• Integrate automated tests with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to identify automation

opportunities.

• Prepare clear automation execution reports, defect reports, and progress

updates.

Java Automation Engineers

• Strong proficiency in Java as the core programming skill.

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

• Experience in designing and maintaining Java-based automation frameworks.

• Strong understanding of Page Object Model (POM).

• Experience with TestNG or JUnit.

• Exposure to API and mobile application automation is preferred.

Common Required Skills

• 9+ years of hands-on automation testing experience.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile methodologies.

• Strong test analysis, debugging, and root-cause analysis capabilities.

• Experience working independently as an Individual Contributor.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
