Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer – Java to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in test automation using Java and Selenium, along with good exposure to API testing, automation frameworks, CI/CD, and database validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for Web and API testing.
• Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Perform API testing using tools/frameworks such as Rest Assured.
• Work with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Validate application data using SQL queries, databases, XML, and flat files.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Identify, analyze, and track defects through resolution.
• Integrate automation suites with Jenkins/CI-CD pipelines.
• Use Maven and Git for build and source-code management.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, execution, and status reporting.

Mandatory Skills

• 6–12 years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium.
• Experience in API Testing and RESTful Web Services.
• Good knowledge of Rest Assured and/or Cucumber.
• Experience in building/maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Maven and Git.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum testing methodologies.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture.
