About this role
We are looking for a Java Architect to design scalable enterprise applications and provide technical leadership across Java-based platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Define architecture for Java-based applications and services.
- Design scalable microservices and distributed systems.
- Lead Java application modernization initiatives.
- Establish coding and architecture standards.
- Review technical designs and source code.
- Design REST APIs and integration solutions.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Work with databases, caching, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- Collaborate with cloud and DevOps teams.
- Mentor Java developers and technical leads.
- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks.
- Resolve complex production and architectural issues.
Preferred Candidate Requirements
- 7-10 years of Java/J2EE development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices.
- Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architecture.
- Strong SQL/database knowledge.
- Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ or similar technologies.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes preferred.
- Cloud experience with Azure/AWS/GCP.
- Strong system-design and architecture skills.
