Java Architect - Microservices & Distributed Systems

Strong expertise in Java (17/21+), Core Java, Collections, Streams, Multithreading, Concurrency, Exception Handling, and Java design principles. • Extensive experience in designing enterprise-scale distributed systems, Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and RESTful API design. • Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud, Spring Actuator, and Spring Validation. • Strong knowledge of system design, High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), architectural patterns, design patterns, scalability, resiliency, and fault-tolerant systems. • Experience designing and implementing Apache Kafka-based event streaming solutions, asynchronous communication, and messaging patterns. • Strong expertise in Hibernate/JPA with experience in Oracle and MS SQL Server, including query optimization, transaction management, indexing, and database performance tuning. • Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, Authentication, Authorization, API Security, and secure coding practices based on OWASP standards. • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure, Linux, Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipeline implementation. • Strong understanding of JVM Internals, Memory Management, Garbage Collection, Heap Analysis, Thread Dumps, Performance Tuning, Profiling, and troubleshooting production issues. • Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, Kibana, centralized logging, monitoring, observability, and application performance monitoring. • Ability to create reference implementations and working prototypes using Spring Boot to establish development standards and accelerate implementation. • Strong experience in code reviews, Pull Request reviews, enforcing coding standards, architecture governance, and mentoring development teams. • Hands-on knowledge of JUnit 5, Mockito, Integration Testing, code quality tools (SonarQube), and software quality best practices.

Have • Experience with Spring Batch, Spring Integration, Reactive Programming (WebFlux), or GraphQL. • Knowledge of CQRS, Saga Pattern, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Hexagonal Architecture, and API Gateway patterns. • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana or other observability platforms. • Experience with SAST, DAST, OSS vulnerability management, container security, and performance/load testing tools.
