Position Purpose: The developer helps with the maintenance of API-related information systems and contributes to ensuring its continuity through personal effort as part of a team or to a limited extent within the department to achieve short-term and occasionally medium-term goals.

They help in the development and realization of the software architecture as a contribution to high-quality software solutions in accordance with the applicable best practices (maintainable, safe, documented, scalable, testable and in accordance with the needs of the business area).

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• More than7+years of experience in analysis and troubleshooting of productions Incidents / issues.
• Vulnerability Management with tools likeNexusIQ/JFrogXray/Artifactory/SonarQube
• Strong communicationskills and Englisch languageproficiencycomparable to CEFR level C1
• Agile Software-Development (Scrum)
• Participating in API activities of BNP Paribas
• Developing&MaintainingAPI products in banking, trading and beyond banking
• Co-designing technical implementation of API strategy
• Ensuring the timeliness of documentation, processes, and tool landscape
• Maintenance and development of the API platform
• Ensuring continuous delivery processes via automated pipelines
• Implementing and co-designing architectural specifications
• Ensuring software quality, test automation, and integration of tools (e.g., Sonar, Fortify) into development process

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Minimum7+ Yrs of Exp inSpring-Boot/Cloud
• Knowledge ofJava 8+
• Databases Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Work experience inMaven and Gradle
• Working knowledge usingJPA, ORM, Transaction Managers, Hibernate
• Monitoring & Observability with tools like Grafana, ELK, Prometheus
• Familiar with topics around authentication/authorization (OAuth, IDPse.g.KeyCloak)
• Experience inRESTful MicroservicesorSOAP
• API Management with tools likeOpenAPI, Swagger and Spectral
• CI/CD with Kubernetes or OpenShift

• Cloud exp. with at least one of the following: OpenShift, AWS,Azureor Google Cloud
