Java Application Engineer

We are looking for proactive and self-motivated Java Application Engineers to design, develop, enhance, and maintain highly scalable software solutions for our core public safety products.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Java 21, REST APIs, system design, cloud technologies, MySQL, and Angular. You will play an active role in system-level design, requirements analysis, development, integration, testing, customer support, and troubleshooting.

You will work in a collaborative, people-first engineering environment focused on building innovative cloud-based solutions and reliable, real-time platform capabilities that help emergency responders act with clarity and certainty.

• Troubleshoot complex production and architectural issues.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  Full Stack Development
• For the Full Stack role, collaborate closely with frontend teams and develop integrations with Angular and React applications.
• Build and consume APIs that support responsive and reliable frontend experiences.
• Understand end-to-end application architecture and contribute across both frontend and backend layers.
  Testing, Documentation Support
• Develop, validate, and test software components and integrations.
• Support system, integration, and performance testing activities.
• Create and maintain technical and user documentation.
• Provide production and customer support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and deliver high-quality solutions.
