Japanese Bilingual IT Helpdesk / Service Desk Support

Job Summary

We are looking for a Japanese Bilingual IT Helpdesk Professional with 35 years of experience to provide IT helpdesk and technical support to Japanese-speaking users. The candidate will act as a bridge between the Japanese team and the IT support team, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of IT-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 IT Helpdesk / Service Desk support to Japanese-speaking users.
• Handle incidents and service requests through phone, email, chat and ticketing tools..
• Communicate with Japanese users in Japanese and English to understand and resolve technical issues.
• Translate and explain technical information, instructions and IT processes between Japanese and English teams.
• Log, update and track incidents/service requests in the ITSM/ticketing tool.
• Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams.
• Follow up with users and ensure timely resolution within defined SLA/TAT.
• Coordinate with Japan-based IT teams and other technical teams for issue resolution.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of user satisfaction.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in interested to work in IT Helpdesk role
• Strong proficiency in Japanese and English communication.
• JLPT N2 or above certification preferred.
