ITI Trainee - E&I Department

Role & responsibilities

• Assist the E&I team in routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities under the guidance of senior technicians/engineers.
• Assist in the maintenance of motors, control panels, cables, sensors, transmitters, switches, and other field instruments.
• Support calibration and checking of basic instrumentation devices and control systems.
• Assist in identifying electrical/instrumentation faults and reporting abnormalities to the concerned supervisor.
• Follow instructions related to equipment isolation, electrical safety, and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the work area.
• Follow all plant safety rules, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain basic maintenance records and checklists as required.
• Coordinate with operators and maintenance personnel during equipment inspection and maintenance activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the E&I department.
