About this role
Role & responsibilities
Installation and wiring of rooftop solar PV systems
• DC and AC cable laying, termination and testing
• Installation of inverters, ACDBs, DCDBs, earthing and lightning-protection systems
• Testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of solar plants
• Preventive maintenance and breakdown support
• Coordinating with site engineers and installation teams
• Following all electrical and work-at-height safety procedures
• Preparing basic site and service reports
Preferred candidate profile
Two years of hands-on experience in the solar industry is preffered.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and single-line diagrams
• Familiarity with multimeters, clamp meters, megger testing and other electrical tools
• Knowledge of solar safety, earthing and fault identification
• Willingness to travel to project sites within Kerala
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred
• Wireman licence will be an added advantage
Salary: Competitive and based on experience
