Educational Qualification Mandatory

• ITI – 2 Years Full-Time Course ONLY from a recognized ITI/NCVT/SCVT institute.
• Eligible trades:
  
• Fitter
• Mechanical
• Electrical
• 10th & 12th: Minimum 60% marks
• ITI: Minimum 60% marks
• Minimum 2 years of relevant post-ITI work experience
• Candidates with 1-year ITI / short-term / part-time / distance / equivalent courses are NOT eligible.

Experience

2+ years of relevant industrial experience, preferably in:

• Manufacturing / Production
• Mechanical assembly and fitting
• Machine operation and maintenance
• Electrical maintenance
• Precision measurement and inspection
• Defence / Aerospace / Engineering manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Perform production, assembly, fitting and shop-floor activities as per defined processes.
• Operate and handle production equipment, machines and tools safely.
• Carry out basic mechanical/electrical maintenance and troubleshooting as applicable to the trade.
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings, work instructions and SOPs.
• Use basic measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges and Measuring Tools.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure adherence to process parameters.
• Follow 5S, PPE, safety procedures and EHS requirements strictly.
• Maintain production records, checklists and documentation.
• Identify abnormalities/defects and immediately escalate them to the supervisor.
• Work effectively in a shift-based manufacturing environment.

Desired Skills

• Strong understanding of ITI trade fundamentals.
• Good hands-on knowledge of tools, machines and measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and dimensions.
• Good discipline and attention to detail.
• Safety-conscious approach to working.
• Willingness to learn new machines, tools and processes.
• Ability to work as part of a production team.
