IT Systems Support & Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a versatile IT Systems Support & Full Stack Developer to oversee technical support, maintenance, and ongoing feature development across our growing ecosystem of digital platforms. Our properties include healthcare recruitment platforms, medical education portals, and online assessment/situational judgment testing engines.

In this role, you will bridge day-to-day application support and technical troubleshooting with hands-on full-stack engineering. You will ensure high platform availability, resolve technical issues, architect scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, and integrate intelligent AI capabilities (such as automated evaluation workflows and generative search discovery).

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Support, System Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Provide Level 2/3 application support across our web properties, diagnosing and resolving front-end bugs, API errors, database anomalies, and payment/form submission issues.
• Monitor site health, uptime, SSL certificates, domain management, and system integrations (payment gateways, CRM webhooks, and email systems).
• Assist internal teams with user access management, role-based access control (RBAC), and technical onboarding for new platform tools.

2. Full Stack Engineering & Web Development

• Design, build, and maintain dynamic, accessible, and responsive user interfaces for candidate job portals, course delivery hubs, and interactive assessment modules.
• Build robust RESTful APIs, background microservices, and backend logic to support complex user authentication, commerce workflows, and automated reporting.
• Maintain clean, documented, and reusable component libraries and code repositories.

3. Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps (Microsoft Azure)

• Architect, configure, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL/Cosmos DB, and Blob Storage).
• Maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Oversee data security, secure secret management, automated database backups, and vulnerability patching.

4. AI Systems & Automation Integration

• Integrate generative AI models and APIs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, embedding models, vector search, or RAG pipelines) to automate candidate workflows, practice test evaluations, and internal search.
• Develop automated data processing pipelines to improve search indexing and user matching capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 35+ years in full-stack web development paired with hands-on web application / IT technical support.
• Front-End Development: Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js, semantic HTML5, and responsive CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS/CSS3).
• Back-End Engineering: Strong server-side experience with Node.js/Express, Python (FastAPI/Django), or C#/.NET Core.
• Cloud & DevOps: Practical experience managing deployments, compute, and networking inside Microsoft Azure, containerization (Docker), and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• AI & Automation: Hands-on experience integrating AI APIs, LLM prompts/pipelines, vector search, or Azure Cognitive/OpenAI services into web applications.
• Databases: Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB), query optimization, and schema design.
• Security & Auth: Sound understanding of web application security best practices, OAuth2/JWT authentication, and API security.

Desirable / Bonus Experience

• Prior experience supporting multi-site environments, e-learning platforms (LMS), or online recruitment/job board portals.
• Familiarity with WordPress/WooCommerce architecture, headless CMS setups, or custom PHP/MySQL application debugging.
