As part of the Tech team you will handle network operations, hardware, operating systems and system architectures. Drishti is an early adopter of cloud-based and open-source tooling, so the role suits a self-motivated, proactive person with a can-do attitude and a passion for keeping their skills current. Working locations span the North and South beaches, so the role involves frequent field visits.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of IT support for Drishti Group staff across the network.
- Install, configure and maintain network services, equipment and devices, including routing and switching configuration.
- Install, configure and maintain cameras and biometric machines.
- Monitor systems and implement changes.
- Travel to IT setups across Goa for regular maintenance.
- Investigate issues and requirements, prioritise the right solutions, keep detailed and accurate records, and help colleagues use the various technologies.
Qualifications Skills
- Key skills: Linux operating systems, networking, IT management, cameras, hardware and biometrics.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
- 0-1 year of relevant IT industry experience.
- A genuine interest in technology.
- Willing to travel to the tower locations across the beaches.
