Job Title: IT Product Manager (S4H Manufacturing) (Consumer Products Industry) Reports to: Global IT Lead - Manufacturing Scope: Global Location: Ice Cream Office Pune , India

Role Overview The IT Product Manager for S/4HANA Manufacturing will lead the strategy, delivery, and lifecycle management of ERP capabilities that enable efficient, integrated, and high‑performing manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for shaping the S/4HANA Manufacturing product roadmap, partnering with global and site‑level stakeholders, and driving successful implementation and optimization of SAP ECC and S/4HANA modules across multiple regions. The ideal candidate brings strong end‑to‑end manufacturing process knowledge, hands‑on experience implementing SAP solutions in factory and supply chain environments, and the ability to manage vendors, budgets, and cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced global setting.

🎯 Key Responsibilities S/4HANA Manufacturing Strategy & Roadmap Define and own the product vision and roadmap for S/4HANA Manufacturing capabilities, including MM, PP, QM, PM, EPPM, and related modules. Translate business and operational needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and solution designs. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, global ERP strategy, cybersecurity standards, and digital transformation objectives. Support the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, including fit‑gap analysis, process harmonization, and data migration planning. Project Delivery & Implementation Lead end‑to‑end delivery of ERP projects: scoping, blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Manage SAP and technology vendors, including RFP processes, contract negotiations, SLAs, and performance management. Conduct requirement workshops with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to define functional and technical specifications. Deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong user adoption across plants and global functions. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary IT partner for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance functions. Engage senior stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, manage expectations, and communicate progress. Support change management, training, and communication activities to ensure smooth ERP rollouts and process adoption. Operations & BAU Support Oversee the lifecycle of SAP ECC and S/4HANA manufacturing modules, ensuring stability, compliance, and continuous improvement. Manage incident resolution, enhancements, and release cycles in collaboration with DevOps, AMS partners, and internal support teams. Ensure data integrity, master data governance, cybersecurity, and alignment with information management standards. Technology & Process Expertise Provide subject‑matter expertise on manufacturing processes and SAP modules: MM, PP, QM, PM, EPPM, WM/EWM, MRP, shop‑floor integration, and production execution . Identify opportunities for automation, analytics, and process optimization using S/4HANA capabilities, RPA, dashboards, and cloud technologies. Promote Agile ways of working and drive DevOps maturity across ERP product teams. Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless connectivity between S/4HANA, MES, PLM, and other digital manufacturing systems. 🧩 Required Qualifications & Experience Educational background in Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, or related fields (Manufacturing/Supply Chain preferred). Proven experience delivering IT solutions in manufacturing environments with strong hands‑on exposure to SAP ECC and S/4HANA . Deep functional knowledge of MM, PP, QM, PM, EPPM , and related manufacturing modules. Experience with ERP transformation programs, including ECC‑to‑S/4HANA migrations. Hands‑on experience working with SAP and SaaS vendors: contracting, workshops, solution design, and implementation. Exposure to Data Analytics, RPA, IoT, and modern digital technologies. Expertise in Agile application development, Scrum, and DevOps practices. Solid understanding of cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure) and hybrid architectures. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and vendor management skills. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive, accountable working style. Ability to work flexibly across time zones in a global operating model. Strong information management discipline and documentation skills. ⭐ Desirable Skills Experience designing or implementing S/4HANA Manufacturing innovations such as embedded PP/DS, MRP Live, Fiori apps, or EPPM capabilities. Experience managing or scaling large, complex ERP transformation programs. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to manufacturing quality, safety, and compliance. Understanding of integration between S/4HANA and MES, PLM, LIMS, or other digital factory systems. 🤝 What Success Looks Like High adoption and satisfaction with S/4HANA Manufacturing capabilities across global sites.
