IT Procurement Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Procurement professional responsible for sourcing IT hardware, software, and related services. The role will manage the complete procurement cycle, including vendor identification, quotation comparison, negotiation, PR/PO processing, invoice coordination, GRN, and delivery follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure IT hardware and equipment, including:
• Laptops and desktops
• Servers and storage
• Network switches, routers, firewalls, and related components
• Printers and other IT peripherals
• IT accessories and consumables
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suitable suppliers and service providers.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranty, AMC, delivery timelines, and service support.
• Prepare and coordinate Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
• Follow up with vendors for order confirmation and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with IT, Finance, Stores, and other internal teams for procurement activities.
• Coordinate invoice verification, GRN processing, and payment-related activities.
• Maintain proper procurement documentation and records.
• Track warranty, AMC, software license renewals, and service-support requirements.
• Evaluate vendor performance based on cost, quality, delivery, and service.
• Support cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for better commercial deals.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval processes, and procurement guidelines.

Education & Experience

• Any Graduate / Any Degree from a recognized institution.
• IT Procurement / IT Purchase experience is preferred but freshers with good learning ability may also be considered.
• Experience in sourcing laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment, software licenses, and IT services will be an advantage.
• Experience working with ERP-based procurement processes will be an advantage.
• Experience in vendor negotiation and cost optimization will be highly preferred.
