IT Operations Executive

Key Responsibilities
System support
- Install, configure and maintain laptops, desktops, servers, printers and peripherals.
- Provide helpdesk support to head office and project site users, and log every request in a ticket tracker.
- Administer email and collaboration tools, operating systems and software licences.
- Maintain the IT asset register and manage renewals, vendors and AMCs. Network support
- Set up, monitor and maintain office LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, firewalls and internet links.
- Provide and maintain reliable connectivity for project sites.
- Troubleshoot network outages and performance issues, and coordinate with internet service providers. Cybersecurity
- Implement and monitor firewalls, antivirus/endpoint protection, patching and two-factor authentication.
- Manage user access and permissions, and conduct periodic access reviews.
- Run and test backups of critical systems and data, and maintain a disaster-recovery plan.
- Monitor for threats such as phishing and malware, respond to incidents and train users on security awareness.
ERP support and requirement management
- Provide first-line support for our existing ERP: user issues, access, data corrections and reports.
- Log, prioritise and track ERP bugs and new feature requests from departments, and coordinate them with the development team.
- Maintain user guides and system documentation. New ERP rollout
- Support user acceptance testing and data migration from the existing system.
- Set up users, deliver training and provide post-go-live support to departments.
