IT Infrastructure Specialist Server/Database (AMBOTINF003) – Senior Programmer Analyst (Exp: 3 Yrs - 5 Yrs)

Job Description: IT Infrastructure Specialist Server/Database – Senior Programmer Analyst (Exp: 3 - 5 Years) We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer Server/Database as a Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for maintaining the operation of all Unix and/or Windows-based operating systems and the Oracle and/or SQL databases set up on them that are operated via TAI. This includes processing all relevant documents, communicating with internal and external specialist departments and plants, ensuring the timely and efficient implementation of projects, and providing support in the event of malfunctions and critical situations.

• Experience should have 3 - 5 Years of IT Infrastructure Engineer Server/Database as a Senior Programmer Analyst of which 3-4 years of experience in a Similar role.
• Comprehensive know-how in the field of server and database architecture (Windows/Linux/AIX and/or MS SQL/Oracle)
• experience to use knowledge (e.g. MSCSA- or RHCE-certification-level)
• Experience with cloud-native platforms (Azure migration, IaaS automation)
• Advanced knowledge of network design and network architecture
• Licensing knowledge in the area of responsibility
• Project management experience
• ITIL process framework
• Scripting for proactive monitoring (PowerShell/Python) is a plus
• Exposure to DevOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins) is a plus
• Advanced observability (Grafana, Prometheus) is a plus
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus

Roles & Responsibility Project coordination / change management

• Coordinating requirements with specialist departments
• Evaluating inquiries
• Providing architectural advice to specialist departments where necessary
• Coordinating and commissioning external service providers
• Managing project implementation
• Monitoring the respective budget
• Collaborating with the network team and security officers (IT/OT)

Documentation and administrative tasks

• Control of capacity management
• Coordinate yearly lifecycle
• Planning of the necessary budget for projects and maintenance of operations

• Triggering of procurements in accordance with the results of capacity management
• Control of operation-related documentation (creation/maintenance)

Coordination of operations

• Coordination between service providers and specialist departments, and other parties where necessary (e.g. vendor support)
• Development and testing of contingency plans
• Taking the lead in crisis situations:
• Development and implementation of emergency solutions, also in cooperation with all necessary parties.
• Communication to the next management level
• Accompanying and supporting incident and problem analysis (RCA)
