Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled IT Hardware Engineer to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer hardware, networking equipment, peripherals, and IT infrastructure across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems and required applications.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers and basic network connectivity issues.
• Perform hardware upgrades, replacements and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and hardware records.
• Provide onsite/remote technical support to employees.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, AMC and replacements.
• Ensure proper backup and security practices for IT devices.
• Maintain helpdesk/service tickets and prepare regular IT support reports.
• Support CCTV, biometric/access-control systems and other office IT infrastructure where required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of Windows OS.
• Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with printers, scanners and networking devices.
• Knowledge of Active Directory/Microsoft 365 is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple support requests and work under deadlines.

Qualification

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. in IT, Computer Science, Electronics or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
