IT Hardware And Networking - Deputy Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Daily IT helpdesk support for desktops, laptops, Microsoft 365, printers, ERP applications, operating systems and other end-user issues, including rotational shift support.

2. Support and coordinate LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewall, SD-WAN, internet leased line (ILL), PBX, video conferencing and network switch installations.

3. Coordinate the implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure projects at the Head Office and project sites, including Mumbai, Nashik, Ahmedabad and other locations.

4. Manage IT hardware and software inventory, asset allocation and deallocation, software licensing, consumables and related documentation.

5. Coordinate with IT vendors, ISPs and service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues, adherence to SLAs and effective service delivery.

6. Provide Level 1 application and cloud infrastructure support and coordinate with the relevant technical teams for escalations.

7. Maintain IT documentation, monitor system uptime, resolve escalated issues and support improvements in IT processes and service delivery.

8. Coordinate with internal departments, project teams and IT support personnel to ensure timely resolution of IT issues and smooth implementation of IT initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in IT hardware and networking.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN configurations.
• Familiarity with network security protocols.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
