It Executive

We are looking for a proactive and highly technical IT Executive to manage and maintain our local office and retail store infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end hardware troubleshooting, network configuration, CCTV systems management, OS deployment, and software support. You will ensure maximum system uptime, ironclad network security, and flawless digital peripheral integration to support both day-to-day operations and customer-facing retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-User Computing & Hardware Maintenance

• Diagnostics & Repairs: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware component faults across company laptops, desktops, and retail POS terminals.
• Upgrades & Extensions: Perform performance-enhancing hardware upgrades (RAM expansions, SSD swaps, peripheral installations).
• Peripheral Management: Set up, configure, and troubleshoot network and local printers, scanners, barcode readers, and receipt printers. Manage associated driver and software deployments.

2. OS Deployment, Software Support & Security

• Multi-OS Administration: Deploy, configure, and manage corporate images across diverse environments including Windows 11, macOS, and Linux.
• Application Ecosystems: Act as the primary escalation point for productivity suites like Office 365, cloud storage, and internal business applications.
• System Optimization & Security: Standardize endpoints by installing corporate antivirus solutions, executing patch management, and running routine system performance optimization.

3. Networking & Wi-Fi Configuration

• Infrastructure Setup: Configure and deploy local corporate networks, Wi-Fi routers, network switches, and wireless Access Points (APs).
• Connectivity & Core Protocols: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex network drops and latency issues. Maintain an expert-level understanding of the Network Layer, TCP/IP stack, and the specific functionalities of TCP ports.
• Network Services: Manage basic network services including DHCP IP leases, dynamic/static IP address assignments, and subnets.
• Monitoring & Access: Monitor active network traffic and enforce operational security via basic Firewall Control rules.

4. CCTV & Physical Security Systems

• Surveillance Administration: Supervise store/office CCTV infrastructure, including the configuration of Digital Video Recorders (DVR) and Network Video Recorders (NVR).
• Storage & Scheduling: Manage hard drive storage allocations, retention metrics, and specific recording schedules.
• Network Integration: Establish stable IP configurations for network security cameras to ensure secure remote viewing and backup capabilities.
