Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on and customer-focused IT Executive to manage day-to-day IT operations at our Bangalore entertainment venue. The role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure, systems, networking, POS, hardware, software and technology-enabled gaming and entertainment systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations and provide technical support to all departments.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, POS systems and other IT hardware.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers and other network infrastructure.
• Provide technical support for POS, payment systems, ticketing and other business applications.
• Support arcade games, bowling systems, gaming consoles, digital displays, CCTV and other technology systems in coordination with relevant vendors.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues and ensure minimum downtime.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, system configurations and IT assets.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation and records.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers for installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor backups, antivirus, security updates and basic IT security practices.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, standards and security procedures.
• Provide timely IT support during peak business hours, events and operational requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation of incidents, preventive maintenance and service activities.
• Escalate critical technical issues to the IT Manager / corporate IT team whenever required.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office and basic hardware troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with POS systems and hospitality/retail technology will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business requirements.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in IT support / IT operations.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, entertainment, restaurants or similar high-volume environments will be preferred.

• Timely resolution of IT incidents and support requests.
• Minimum operational downtime.
• Effective management of IT assets and inventory.
• Timely preventive maintenance and vendor coordination.
• Compliance with IT security and company policies.
