Job Objective

To provide uninterrupted onsite IT support for Production, ELRC, ERP, and end-user operations by troubleshooting IT issues, resolving incidents within defined SLAs, and minimizing business downtime.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for Production, ELRC, ERP, and end users on a 24/7 rotational shift basis.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, software, email, and network connectivity issues.
• Respond promptly to production-critical IT incidents to minimize operational downtime.
• Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications, Active Directory, user accounts, and endpoint security.
• Log, track, and resolve IT incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Escalate critical incidents to the relevant IT teams and follow up until resolution.
• Prepare shift handover reports and communicate pending issues to the next shift.
• Perform basic IT infrastructure checks and maintain IT asset inventory records.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, standard operating procedures, and escalation processes.
• Work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as per the approved roster.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams to ensure continuous support for production and business operations.

Shift Coverage Schedule

Shift Timings Coverage Morning Shift As per approved roster Monday to Saturday Evening Shift2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Monday to Saturday Night Shift10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Monday to Saturday

Note:

• Engineers will work on a rotational shift basis as per the approved roster.
• Weekly offs and public holidays will be planned to ensure continuous onsite IT support.
• Mandatory shift handovers must be completed to ensure continuity of Production, ELRC, and ERP support.
• Backup resources should be available to cover planned leave, sick leave, and emergencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or end-user support.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop/laptop troubleshooting.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and email support.
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, user account management, and endpoint security.
• Experience with IT ticketing tools and incident management processes.
• Good communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
