Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Event Manager to manage and govern the end-to-end Event Management process. The role will focus on effective event monitoring, correlation, prioritization, alert optimization, automation, and integration with ITSM platforms to minimize service disruption and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and govern the end-to-end IT Event Management process.
• Monitor events across Infrastructure, Applications, Network, Cloud, and other technology environments.
• Define and manage event classification, prioritization, correlation, filtering, suppression, and escalation rules.
• Identify actionable events and ensure timely routing to appropriate support teams.
• Coordinate with Incident, Problem, Change, Monitoring, and Technology Operations teams.
• Analyze and reduce event noise, false positives, duplicate alerts, and recurring events.
• Drive alert tuning, event correlation, automation, and monitoring improvements.
• Ensure effective event-to-incident automation and integration with ServiceNow/ITSM platforms.
• Analyze event trends and patterns to identify potential service-impacting issues.
• Maintain Event Management procedures, documentation, dashboards, and operational runbooks.
• Prepare governance reports covering event volumes, trends, automation, alert quality, and process improvements.
• Drive continual improvement and maturity of the Event Management process.
