Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Compliance & Audit Coordinator to support IT governance, regulatory and client audit requirements. The role will primarily focus on coordinating internal and external audits, managing compliance documentation, gathering and validating evidence, interacting with clients/auditors and following up with internal teams for timely closure of observations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate client, internal, external, ISO and IT-related audits on behalf of the IT function.
• Act as a coordination point between auditors, clients, IT teams and other internal departments for audit and compliance requirements.
• Understand audit/control requirements and obtain the required information and evidence from relevant teams.
• Maintain and update audit trackers, compliance/control sheets, observations and closure status.
• Review evidence for completeness and relevance before sharing information with authorized client-appointed or external auditors.
• Follow up with respective teams for pending evidence, non-compliances, observations and corrective actions.
• Support implementation and ongoing compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and ISO 20000-1.
• Review IT policies, procedures and SOPs and coordinate periodic updates where required.
• Assist in identifying compliance gaps and ensure observations are tracked through closure.
• Maintain organized documentation and records to ensure continuous audit readiness.
• Prepare audit responses, compliance reports and supporting documentation for management and external stakeholders.
• Handle client/auditor communication professionally through meetings, calls and written correspondence.
• Coordinate IT control reviews covering areas such as access management, privileged access, assets, backups, antivirus/endpoint security, VPN, logs and related infrastructure controls, wherever applicable.

Required Skills

• 5-6 years of experience in IT Compliance, IT Audit, Governance, Risk, Information Security or a similar function.
• Practical knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and ISO 20000-1.
• Experience in handling internal/external audits and client compliance requirements.
• Strong documentation, evidence-gathering and follow-up capabilities.
• Good spoken and written English, with confidence in communicating with clients and auditors.
• Ability to understand audit observations and coordinate corrective actions with technical and business teams.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and compliance/control trackers.
• Strong coordination, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Added Advantage

Working knowledge of IT infrastructure areas such as Active Directory, email systems, networking, backup, endpoint security, access management and IT service/helpdesk operations would be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Preferred Certifications

ISO 27001 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor, ISO 20000-1, ISO 22301, CISA or equivalent certifications would be an added advantage.
