About this role
Job Summary
The Senior Manager - IT Business Partner will serve as the strategic technology partner for Commercial business functions including Revenue Management, Network Planning, Cargo, Sales Distribution, Commercial Planning, CRM, and Commercial Analytics. The role will be responsible for aligning business priorities with technology investments, managing the Commercial Technology portfolio, driving digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions that improve revenue, customer experience, operational efficiency, and business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary IT relationship manager for Commercial business stakeholders.
Partner with Revenue Management, Network Planning, Cargo, Sales, Commercial Planning, and CRM teams to understand business objectives and technology needs.
Lead business requirement gathering, solution assessment, and business case preparation.
Own demand management, project prioritization, and portfolio governance processes.
Establish executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and benefits realization tracking.
Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, analytics, and AI-led business transformation.
Desired Qualification / certifications
Bachelor s degree in engineering - Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
MBA (preferred).
Certifications (Preferred)
Relevant certifications in Project Management, Agile Delivery, Business Analysis.
IATA Airline Business Foundation
Preferred work experience
10+ years of experience in IT, Business Analysis, Product Management, Project Management, Digital Transformation, or IT Business Partner roles.
5+ years of experience engaging with senior business stakeholders and managing cross-functional technology initiatives.
Experience in Aviation, Airlines, Travel, Logistics, or Transportation industry preferred.
Strong understanding of at least one or more commercial domains:
o Revenue Management
o Sales Distribution
o Network Planning
o Cargo
o CRM
o Commercial Analytics
