IT Administrator

Department Internal IT Reports To Director - Managed IT Services

Role Purpose

Maintain reliable, secure, and responsive internal IT services for employees, offices, and internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L1/L2 support for end-user devices, Microsoft 365, identity and access, printers, conferencing, and office connectivity.

Administer Windows endpoints, user accounts, email, shared drives, endpoint security, and IT asset inventory.

Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain laptops, desktops, peripherals, Wi-Fi, LAN, and basic network equipment.

Coordinate with external vendors and internet/service providers for hardware repairs, connectivity, procurement, and service issues.

Maintain IT documentation, standard operating procedures, asset registers, and support records.

Support employee onboarding, offboarding, device allocation, and access provisioning.

Follow security, backup, patching, and incident-management processes.

Required Experience and Skills

2-5 years of hands-on internal IT administration experience.

Strong Windows desktop support, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, hardware troubleshooting, and basic networking knowledge.

Comfortable with onsite support and employee-facing service delivery.

Practical, well-organised communicator with a service-oriented mindset.

Preferred Certifications

Microsoft, CompTIA A+/Network+, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
