Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager – IPQA to lead In-Process Quality Assurance activities at our formulation manufacturing facility.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing operations comply with GMP/cGMP, SOPs, quality systems and regulatory requirements, while effectively managing IPQA activities on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise IPQA activities for formulation manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with GMP/cGMP, SOPs and quality standards.
• Monitor and perform in-process checks and line clearance.
• Review BMR/BPR and other batch manufacturing documentation.
• Support batch review and batch release activities.
• Handle and review Deviation, OOS, OOT, CAPA and Change Control.
• Coordinate activities related to process validation and cleaning validation.
• Ensure proper implementation of quality systems on the manufacturing floor.
• Participate in internal, customer and regulatory audits/inspections.
• Support preparation and review of PQR/APQR.
• Support investigation of product complaints and quality-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with data integrity and documentation requirements.
• Conduct GMP and quality-related training for Production and QA personnel.
• Lead, mentor and develop the IPQA team.
• Coordinate effectively with Production, QC, Engineering and other cross-functional teams.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in QA/IPQA within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong experience in formulation manufacturing is essential.
• Hands-on experience in shop-floor IPQA activities.
• Good knowledge of GMP/cGMP and pharmaceutical quality systems.
• Strong exposure to BMR/BPR review, line clearance and in-process checks.
• Experience in Deviation, OOS/OOT, CAPA and Change Control.
• Exposure to validation and audit activities.
• Strong documentation, communication and team-management skills.
• Candidates who can join at short notice will be preferred.
