Ip Billing Executive

We are looking for a qualified and experienced IP Billing Executive to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for handling inpatient billing, preparing and verifying patient bills, coordinating with insurance/TPA teams, and ensuring accurate and timely billing processes while maintaining proper documentation and patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end inpatient (IP) billing processes for patients.
• Prepare accurate patient bills based on hospital services, procedures, investigations, pharmacy, and other charges.
• Verify billing details and ensure accuracy of all charges before final billing.
• Prepare final bills at the time of patient discharge.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and TPA teams for billing and claim-related requirements.
• Handle cash, insurance, and TPA billing processes.
• Verify patient details, admission details, package charges, discounts, and billing entries.
• Coordinate with departments such as medical records, pharmacy, diagnostics, nursing, and accounts when required.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and clarify billing-related queries.
• Maintain proper billing records, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Assist with insurance/TPA documentation and claim processing.
• Ensure timely completion of billing and discharge-related activities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure data security.
• Follow hospital billing policies, procedures, and financial documentation standards.

Eligibility & Skills

• Any Degree is mandatory.
• 2+ years of experience in IP Billing / Hospital Billing is preferred.
• Relevant experience in hospital billing is mandatory.
• Experience in inpatient billing, discharge billing, insurance billing, or TPA billing will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of hospital billing processes and medical terminology.
• Good knowledge of insurance and TPA billing procedures.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Experience working with hospital management/billing software.
• Strong attention to detail and billing accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle billing queries and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with prior experience as an IP Billing Executive, Hospital Billing Executive, Medical Billing Executive, or Inpatient Billing Executive in hospitals, healthcare organizations, or diagnostic centers will be preferred. Candidates should have good knowledge of inpatient billing, discharge billing, insurance/TPA billing, and hospital billing processes.
