About this role
The Opportunity We are a fast-moving startup radically changing how oncology practitioners work. We are looking to expand our development team to make ONCOassist the most innovative company in digital health. We are looking for an iOS Developer to join our Engineering team — an exciting opportunity to bring cutting-edge technology into the healthcare domain. You will work in a collaborative environment that encourages you to engineer elegant solutions for complex clinical problems, work first-hand with some of the world’s largest pharma companies, and play a key role in the growth of the company. You will have an opportunity to work on a product that improves quality of care for cancer patients at home in India and around the world.
The Opportunity ONCOassist is a CE-approved clinical decision support app for oncology professionals. It gives oncology healthcare professionals easy access to all the tools and information they need to make informed clinical decisions quickly — improving the quality of patient care and hospital efficiency.

Nice to Have • Core Data, Core Graphics, Core Animation • Experience with medical device software standards (e.g. IEC 62304) • CI/CD pipeline experience (Fastlane, Xcode Cloud) • Exposure to Android or cross-platform frameworks
What you will be doing • Develop core platform features and reusable components for our iOS applications • Build and maintain UI using UIKit and SwiftUI within an MVVM architecture • Integrate and maintain Firebase services: Analytics, Crashlytics, and Push Notifications • Develop and maintain REST API integrations using Alamofire • Write and maintain unit tests for clinical algorithms, ensuring accuracy and safety • Design and deliver new application features end-to-end, from inception through testing and delivery • Work with agile Product Owners and Scrum Master to define user stories and refine the product backlog • Actively participate in ongoing feature design, architecture decisions, and product enhancements • Create and maintain high-quality technical design and sprint documentation • Use the latest hardware (MacBook Pro, latest iPhones) and be involved in defining product UI/UX • Proactively keep on top of iOS and mobile technology trends, with company support
Skills and Experience • Minimum 3-8 years of commercial iOS development experience • At least 3 published iOS applications on the App Store (individually or as part of a team) • Strong proficiency in Swift; Objective-C experience required • Solid experience with UIKit and SwiftUI • Hands-on experience with MVVM architecture • Firebase integration experience: Analytics, Crashlytics, Push Notifications • REST API development and networking using Alamofire • Experience writing unit tests, ideally for logic-critical or regulated software • Experience with Git and source control workflows • Agile/Scrum development experience • Third-level qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a drive to deliver high-quality work • Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team
