About this role
Role Overview:
The role will support the Fixed Income investment team by analysing macroeconomic trends, economic data and financial markets and assessing their impact on investment portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse macroeconomic factors such as inflation, interest rates, RBI policy and economic growth.
- Assess the impact of macroeconomic developments on fixed income portfolios.
- Work closely with Fund Managers on portfolio positioning and investment strategy.
- Analyse market and economic data and convert insights into actionable investment views.
- Prepare regular research notes, reports and presentations for the CIO, Fund Managers and stakeholders.
- Track fixed income, forex and equity markets.
- Support financial modelling and market data analysis.
- Coordinate with Research, Risk, Sales, Operations and other internal teams.
- Interact with external stakeholders such as brokers, investors and issuers.
- Use technology and analytical tools to improve research and reporting efficiency.
Ideal Candidate:
- 0 - 5 years of relevant experience in Fixed Income Research, Macro Research, Economic Research, Investment Strategy, Debt Research or Investment Management, with knowledge of financial markets and strong analytical/report-writing skills.
- Education: MBA / CFA / CA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
