Lead - Investment Promotion & Facilitation Expert

Educational Qualification

• MBA, PGDM, Master's in Economics, Public Policy, Finance, Business Administration, Infrastructure Management, or related disciplines from a premier institution.
• Preferred institutions include IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS, IITs, NITIE, leading international universities, or other reputed colleges and universities.
• Additional certifications in investment promotion, economic development, public policy, or project management will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Promotion & Investor Outreach

• Develop and implement sector-focused investment promotion strategies.
• Identify and engage domestic and international investors across priority sectors.
• Lead investor targeting, roadshows, investment missions, and business development initiatives.
• Build relationships with multinational corporations, industry associations, chambers of commerce, and strategic investors.
• Support investment prospecting and lead generation activities.

Investor Facilitation & Project Management

• Facilitate end-to-end support for investors during project conceptualization, approval, implementation, and operational stages.
• Coordinate with government departments, industrial development agencies, and regulatory authorities to resolve investor issues.
• Monitor investment pipeline and ensure timely conversion of investment opportunities into committed projects.
• Track project implementation progress and facilitate issue resolution.

Policy Advisory & Economic Development

• Lead formulation and review of industrial, sectoral, and investment promotion policies.
• Conduct policy benchmarking, competitiveness assessments, and investment climate studies.
• Recommend reforms to improve ease of doing business and enhance investor experience.
• Support development of incentive frameworks, industrial policies, sector strategies, and economic development initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the principal interface with senior government officials, industry leaders, investors, and development agencies.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Provide strategic advisory support to government leadership on investment promotion initiatives.

Team Leadership & Capacity Building

• Lead and mentor a team of consultants, analysts, and domain experts.
• Allocate resources and oversee quality of deliverables.
• Drive performance management and professional development of team members.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Account & Commercial Management

• Take overall responsibility for project delivery, client satisfaction, and account growth.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports, presentations, strategic recommendations, and policy documents.
• Manage project budgets, contract compliance, invoicing, collections, and financial performance.
• Identify opportunities for expansion of services and development of new engagements.

Monitoring & Impact Assessment

• Establish KPIs for investment promotion and facilitation activities.
• Monitor progress against investment attraction targets.
• Prepare management dashboards and periodic performance reports.
• Assess economic and investment impact of initiatives undertaken.
