About Internal Audit

Internal Audit function of the Bank, operates independently under the Supervision of the Audit Committee of the Board and is responsible for providing an Independent View to the Board of Directors and Senior Management on the Quality and Efficacy of the Internal Controls, Risk Management Systems, Governance Systems and Processes in Place, on an on-going basis. This is provided to primarily ensure that the Business and Support Functions are in Compliance with both Internal and Regulatory Guidelines.

About the Role

Investigations: Investigator-Retail Liabilities Investigations has to Develop and Implement Policies, Standards and Practices for Timely and Efficient Investigation of the Reported Cases, Frauds, Complaints and Staff Misdemeanor along with Whistle Blower cases. They must Proactively manage and undertake the Investigations related to Frauds, Complaints, Whistle Blower and staff Misdemeanor in tandem with the Leading Forensic and Fraud Investigation Practices, Bank's Policies, Procedures and Regulatory Requirements.

Key Responsibilities

.Commencement and Completion of Investigations within Time Norms (TAT).
.Adherence to the Processes as per the Fraud Risk Management Policy of the Bank.
.Comprehensiveness and Quality of Investigations - Comprehensiveness and Quality of Investigations, Focus on Root Cause Analysis, Identification of Process / Control / System Gaps, provide Qualitative Recommendations for Improvement of Processes and Mitigation of Fraud Risk, Identification and Fixing of Staff Accountability, Maintaining Evidences, Records & Documentation pertaining to Investigations in a Systematic & Seamless Manner.
.Preparation of Comprehensive Investigation Report and Submission to Head - Investigations within stipulated timelines
.Bifurcation of Cases based on Complaint Source (i.e.) Banking Ombudsman, RBI SSM, MD Desk, PNO/RNO, LEA, Whistleblower, Staff Misdemeanor, Other External Sources, etc.,
.Prompt and Timely Reporting of Fraud Cases: - Disseminate Information and Intelligence with the Concerned Internal Departments
- Reporting to Regulators and Law Enforcement Agencies, as per the guidelines
- Providing updates to Senior Management and Management Committee/s, in line with the Fraud Policy
- Ensuring of Filing of Police Complaints within TAT, in co-ordination with Team/Unit/Branch Concerned
- Error-free Preparation & Timely Submission of FMRs for RBI Reporting
.Identification of Process Lapses/Control/System Gaps and provide necessary suggestions/feedbacks to Team/Unit Concerned, for Improvement/Implementation, wherever required
.Error-free and Timely Submission of MIS and publishing Dashboard
.Build a Strong Working Relationship with Law Enforcement Authorities and Other External Statutory/Regulatory Bodies
.Work on New Age Technologies.

Qualifications

.CA/MBA with at least 8-10 Years of Experience in the Field of Forensic Audit, Fraud Investigations, Data Analysis would be preferred

Role Proficiencies

.Experience in Managing Investigations, related to Frauds, Complaints, Whistleblower, Staff Misdemeanor/Misconduct, Bribery/Corruption, etc., Data Analysis and Extensive Knowledge of Risks, Processes, Controls related to Banks/NBFC/Large Corporates
.Experience in Managing and Conducting Special Forensic Audits involving Review of Fraud Risk Management Framework, Mystery Shopping, etc.,
.Extensive Experience in Managing Investigations involving Data Analysis or Huge Volume of Transactions, Expertise in Complex Analysis, Precise and Concise Preparation of Investigation Findings
.Experience in Preparing Reports/Developing Dashboards for Heads/Management using various Dashboard Tools and Systems
.Good Communication (both Verbal & Written) and Inter-Personal Skills
.Strong Excel and Database Management Skills, Financial and Statistical Analysis Skills
.Ability to Manage Risk and Uncertainty for Self and Team, within a Dynamic Priority-setting Environment
.Ability to Prioritize and Make Decisions in a Fast-paced Environment
