About this role
Role & responsibilities
* Manage daily inventory and stock operations.
* Maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports.
* Receive, check, and verify incoming materials.
* Monitor stock levels, stock movement, and consumption.
* Issue materials to relevant departments as per requirements.
* Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
* Identify and report shortage, excess, damaged, or expired stock.
* Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of materials.
* Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Accounts, and Sales departments.
* Prepare GRN, stock issue notes, and inventory reports.
* Monitor reorder levels and inform the purchase team when stock is low.
* Maintain proper inventory documentation and records.
* Use MS Excel / ERP / inventory management software for stock tracking.
* Minimize stock loss, wastage, and discrepancies.
* Ensure the store/warehouse is clean, safe, and properly organized.
Preferred candidate profile
* Diploma / Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
* 2–5 years of experience in Inventory, Stores, Warehouse, or Stock Management.
* Good knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
* Experience in physical stock verification and reconciliation.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
* Good understanding of stock issue, purchase and inventory documentation.
* Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Ability to identify and resolve stock discrepancies.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple inventory activities.
