Inventory Controller

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Inventory Controller to manage inventory and cost-control activities across our F&B operations. The role will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, monitoring food costs, controlling wastage, and ensuring proper stock management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Monitor and maintain daily inventory and stock records.
• Conduct physical stock counts and random inventory audits.
• Monitor food cost, recipe costing, and consumption.
• Check and control wastage, pilferage, and stock variances.
• Verify stock receipts, issues, transfers, and consumption.
• Identify inventory discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for corrective action.
• Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices and appropriate storage of food materials.
• Prepare regular inventory and cost-control reports for management.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Purchase, Stores, and Operations teams for effective inventory control.
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs and inventory control procedures.

Candidate Profile:

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in F&B Cost Control / Inventory Control.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and food cost control.
• Understanding of recipe costing, wastage monitoring, and stock reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory management systems.
• Attention to detail with the ability to identify stock discrepancies and variances.
• Candidates from Bakery, Caf, Restaurant, Hotel, or QSR backgrounds will be preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
