Inventory Analyst

Role Purpose:

The Inventory Planning Analyst is responsible for driving inventory health, working capital optimization, and inventory governance across manufacturing units and warehouses. The role will look after overall Supply chain Inventory Control. This will involve driving Aging and Non-Conforming Material (NCM), enabling inventory liquidation, supporting management reviews, and driving continuous improvement through analytics, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own end-to-end review and governance of Aging Inventory and Non-Conforming Material (NCM) across manufacturing plants and warehouses.

2. Drive liquidation of aged and non-conforming inventory by coordinating with Plant Planning, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to unlock working capital.

3. Monitor daily inventory movements and performance against monthly and annual Aging and NCM reduction targets.

4. Lead periodic inventory review meetings with manufacturing sites and stakeholders to track actions, risks, and progress.

5. Facilitate timely write-off evaluations, documentation, approvals, and closure for identified inventory.

6. Identify and proactively mitigate inventory risks related to expiry, obsolescence, slow-moving stock, and excess inventory.

7. Develop and maintain inventory dashboards, KPI reports, and management review packs to provide actionable business insights.

8. Gather business requirements and support development of new reports, analytics, and digital solutions for inventory planning and control.

9. Partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, IT, Procurement, and Commercial functions to improve inventory performance.

10. Support leadership reviews through accurate, timely, and data-driven inventory insights and recommendations.
