Job Summary

Software Engineer Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in full-stack software engineering, test automation, and workflow engine prototyping. The intern will work closely with senior developers to contribute directly to product quality, migration initiatives, and UI/UX proof-of-concept projects.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have a strong foundation in Java and Python development, web technologies, and software engineering principles. The ideal candidate demonstrates adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and eagerness to work with modern tools like Playwright, Flowable, and Git-based platforms in an Agile environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented concepts.
• Solid programming experience in Java or Python.
• Basic knowledge of web automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright or Selenium) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Practical experience with Version Control Systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
• Basic understanding of Unix/Linux/Windows servers.
• Basic understanding of Cloud and DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of code analysis tools & IDEs.
• Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers to understand project requirements. Design and execute automated end-to-end tests using Playwright for web applications.
• Develop a Proof of Concept (POC)
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot software issues and maintain documentation.
• Participate actively in Agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
