Hiring: IoT Integration Software Engineer – Digital Products

Location: Remote Experience: 5+ Years

Relevant Experience: Minimum 2+ Years in AWS IoT Ecosystem Joining: Immediate / ASAP Preferred We are looking for an experienced IoT Integration Software Engineer to join our Digital Products team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in AWS IoT services, telemetry ingestion, edge-to-cloud architectures, industrial IoT systems, and cloud-native integration solutions. The selected candidate will act as a subject matter expert for IoT data integration and work closely with hardware, platform, cloud, and application engineering teams to build scalable industrial IoT solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain secure IoT telemetry ingestion pipelines from edge devices to AWS cloud environments. Build scalable integrations between industrial devices and AWS IoT services. Develop APIs and application-ready interfaces for IoT data consumption. Create and manage AWS IoT SiteWise asset models, hierarchies, measurements, transforms, and metrics. Design scalable digital asset structures representing industrial equipment and systems. Implement AWS IoT Greengrass solutions for edge computing, local processing, buffering, and offline synchronization. Support secure edge-to-cloud communication architectures. Work with OT and hardware teams to map physical devices into digital asset models. Develop telemetry validation frameworks, diagnostics tools, and monitoring solutions. Troubleshoot telemetry ingestion failures and data quality issues. Define and maintain standards for asset modeling, telemetry schemas, integration patterns, and data contracts. Document architecture, integrations, operational procedures, and implementation standards.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of software development, integration, or IoT engineering experience. Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript. Hands-on experience with cloud-based IoT and telemetry platforms. Experience working with event-driven and streaming architectures. Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.

Preferred Skills: AWS IoT SiteWise implementation experience. AWS IoT Greengrass deployments. Industrial IoT and Operational Technology environments.
